WildArt Photographer of the Year Winners - MOTION

MOTION was the competition category theme for September, the design of husband and wife team Jari and Kaisa Peltomäki. We received 1,058 entries into this contest, which sought to capture the energy found in nature and we received a diverse range of subjects which showcased many different photographic techniques. Many congratulations to all our winners featured here, but especially Mohammad Murad from Kuwait for his dynamic image of African Elephants which has won our Gold Award in this category. As well as winning £500 Mohammad books a place in our grand final at the end of the year giving him the chance to become our very first WildArt Photographer of the Year winner. Not only did Mohammad strike Gold with this category, he also wins our Bronze Award with a fabulous image of a Lion. Jari and Kaisa’s conservation cause is a Great Grey Owl nest box programme in Finland. The competition raised a total of £206.20 through a percentage of competition entry fees. Thanks to all who entered MOTION and helped us to raise this money for conservation. Please watch our awards presentation to see all the images and hear what our judges Jari and Kaisa, and the winners have to say.
