Ian Parsons

OWNER OF GRIFFON HOLIDAYS AND FORMER FORESTRY COMMISSION RANGER

Ian spent twenty years as a ranger for the Forestry Commission during which time he developed his passion for trees. In 2012 he moved to Extremadura in Spain where he set up a bird watching tour business, Griffon Holidays, indulging two more of his passions, showing people great wildlife and spending time amongst vultures - his favourite birds. Ian is a regular writer for Bird Watching magazine and has also self published several books including 'A Tree Miscellany'. Ian's new book, A Vulture Landscape will be published by Whittles Publishing in October. Ian now spends his time between his native Devon and his adopted home in Extremadura.
